CHANEL N°5 EAU DE PARFUM SPRAY 100 ml
DESCRIPTION
N°5 epitomizes the very essence of femininity—an aldehyde floral bouquet housed within an iconic, minimally designed bottle, crafting a timeless and legendary fragrance.
COMPOSITION
Drawing inspiration from its parfum predecessor, the eau de parfum shares its floral aldehyde signature. Comprising May Rose and Jasmine, it features luminous citrus top notes. Aldehydes infuse a unique presence, while the velvety touch of Vanilla leaves an incredibly sensual trail.
INSPIRATION
In 1921, Gabrielle Chanel tasked Ernest Beaux with crafting "a woman's perfume with a woman's scent," something rare and potent. Beaux presented her with a groundbreaking concoction heavily employing aldehydes. Mademoiselle chose the fifth sample, simply naming it N°5. She embraced a revolutionary bottle design adorned with a white label and a faceted cabochon. In 1986, Jacques Polge, the CHANEL nose since 1978, revisited Beaux's creation to craft a fuller iteration: the eau de parfum.
